You can never have “equality” here on earth in terms of jobs, skills, salary, or wealth.

This is an assertion from an anonymous fellow.
I totally agree with you dear. We can never be equal in terms of "haves" but do you know why people's rights and dignity are trampled upon? This is simply because when we consider ourselves more fortunate than the other, then there is the tendency to look down on them. My message is that we must respect the other not because of what he/she has, but because he/she is a human person. But this is simply lacking in our human society. It takes only humility to accommodate everyone. It is the pride of man that pushes him to make distinctions.
Listen, sometimes I receive insults from people simply because of a little mistake, but at the long run when they discover that I am a priest, they find it difficult to forgive themselves for insulting a priest. And I always seize the opportunity to teach them the need to respect people not because of their title nor their uniform (this always happen whenever I am not putting on my clerical wear), but because they are human beings to be respected come what may.
