Jesus tells us in the gospel today, that God is supposed to be the most important person in our life: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment.”

Dressed in a Wedding Garment?
“But when the king came in to meet the guests he saw a man there not dressed in a wedding garment. He said to him, ‘My friend, how is it that you came in here without a wedding garment?”
I Myself Will Look After and Tend My Sheep
The readings for Mass today are very beautiful, in spite of some of the negative connotations. There are two verses in the first reading from the prophet Ezekiel, that are especially beautiful, “… my sheep were scattered over the whole earth, with no one to look after them or to search for them. Thus says the Lord God: I myself will look after and tend my sheep.”
