Just as we are never tempted beyond our capacity & we still do sin, the same predicament happened in the Garden of Eden. “For we now see through a murky glass…” 1 Corinthians 13:8-12 “We walk by faith, not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7 God has revealed Himself to us, but to be able to totally comprehend the One who created the universe is something that is beyond our capacitity… for now ;^)

Thanks for the reflection about Mary. Since my re-conversion she has held a special place in my heart. I believe it is she who brought me closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. Truly a day to rejoice in the Immaculate Heart of our Lady.

Scripture tells us that we will never be tempted beyond our capacity to bear it, endure it, and escape from it. Did Adam and Eve have the same forewarning? We’re they told that a powerful evil force existed that could upset their Eden, to be aware and on-guard, to seek God”s protection. And then every innocent human born is unworthy of heaven because of a scar borne by Eve. Our Christian heritage begs for a clearer explanation of Genesis.

Thank you very much for today’s reflection. It is so sweet to read, you have just made my day! Until recently, i thought that the immaculate conception was about the conception of Jesus. Thanks to your eloquent writing above on Mary, i now understand what the feast day of the Immaculate Conception is all about.

I thank God for giving to us a good Mother and more especially that He endowed Her with so many graces which enabled her not only to be a mother to Jesus and also to be a Mother to us human beings. I pray that Mother Mary prays for her children everywhere in the world.
